Review on Experience Superior Gaming with the VIOTEK GNV34DB2 34 Inch UltraWide Monitor: 3440X1440, 100Hz, Adaptive Sync, HDMI by Jeff Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best price performance ratio

Other reviews were mixed, but my monitor was flawless. I recently turned 50 and decided to redecorate my entire office/gaming rig as a gift for myself. $4,000 including a desk, office chair, other furniture, gaming computer and of course a monitor. I wanted an ultra wide curved screen but didn't think I could find a good one for less than $800-1000. Everyone knows you should buy the 12900KS, 3090 TI and Odyssey G9, but now you're talking $8000. So I started searching "best graphics card for the money" (3060 TI btw) or "best processor for the money" (Ryzen 5 5600X) etc. When I was looking for the best gaming monitor for the money, I came across this monitor. I've never heard of VIOTEK; it seemed a little suspicious. But the value for money was insane. This monitor should cost twice as much. And I have to say yes it's great and a bargain. I have zero complaints. I'll point out a few things. I have GNV34DBE2, not GNV34DBE. The 2 at the end means you get the second version. It looks like a lot of these reviews are GNV34DBE2 and GNV34DBE grouped together so make sure you get the second version with 2 at the end. There were many complaints that were completely resolved with the 2nd revision. Another thing is that the included stand is a complete crap. I bought an Ergotron monitor mount. I was concerned that the size and weight meant I would have to pay more for an "oversized" Ergotron monitor arm, but I just bought a regular one and it works great. Ultrawide monitor. Couldn't be happier.
