Review on G.Skill Trident Z RGB Series πŸ’‘ 16GB DDR4 3600 CL17-18-18-38 Dual Channel Desktop Memory by Robert Hole

Very happy with G.SKill and RAM so I bought more.

I already have a set of these 2x8GB RAM and was very happy with it so I bought it again. I like RGB optically. It is compatible with my x570 Meg Ace motherboard. The RAM ran at default speed and XMP profile settings. In addition, G.Skill has an excellent warranty and RMA process. The story behind this is that I had my original RAM kit for about a year. I was looking for the cause of the application crash and was surprised when the memory test failed the write/read back test on one of the two sticks. It may have been like that from day one, but I rarely had any problems. It was so rare that I suspected GPU driver or game issues long before I thought my RAM might have had issues before. It only became apparent after I had a couple of crashes that same week, which only happened with very heavy RAM usage. I checked the website and was happy to read about the limited lifetime warranty provided I bought it from a trusted seller and have the receipt. I made an RMA request and emailed a form to be filled out and sent along with the RAM kit and receipt. I paid the postage with the tracking number and saw they received the ram. Two days later I found a new set of RAM in my mailbox, factory sealed. The new ram was good. I don't even mind that the first wand went bad. Any product can break, but G.Skill did the right thing. I am very happy with the warranty and the speed of the RMA process. I bought a second set of identical memory for my system without hesitation. Good job G.Skill, you've earned my brand loyalty.
