At the time of purchase, this drive was not known to have been repaired and failed within a week.

The description on Revain didn't say it was a refurbished disc, but when I opened the box there was a notification that it was a refurbished product. I installed the drive and it took about a week and then failed. I had to remove the disc and send it back. Bought another drive which I was sure was new and working fine. I do not recommend this disc, nor do I advise buying refurbished discs.
