My bathroom fan was getting dusty and me figured it was motor only and I could change it myself. From reading manuals and reviews, I found that my old fan wasn't fast enough for the square footage of my bathroom, which contributed to my bathroom always being too humid. So I chose this fan as an upgrade. The weird thing I had to do during installation was take out two long screws and put them the other way. It wasn't intuitive, but it was the only way to install it, and the screws were a little shorter than they should have been. The nuts barely tightened and I had to bend the frame a bit to get more nut threads onto the bolts. I also had to move the plastic fan blade into a position that didn't feel right to me in order for everything to fit in the case. But it works! The noise level is about the same as the old slower fan, it dries the bath better and the price was good.
