My cat is very particular on what he plays with, I have a treasure trove of balls and mouses that he turns his nose up at. He loved this from the very start and it's been months since I bought it. Because the line is clear you really only see the feathers floating through the air and the wand is flexible and the feathers spin so it really looks like a real bird. I have to be careful not too play too long with my cat because he gets so excited he throws up and still wants to keep on going. Sometimes he wants to play with it so bad he stands on his hind feet and reaches his arm in to the cubby where I keep it trying to get it out. This morning he was so intent on catching the bird that after about 8 minutes he opened his mouth as wide as it would go and let out a long hiss at it, he sounded like a panther, I've never seen him do that before.
