It's too big for a budgie, my bird is literally scared of it. The small one I have can hold about 10 parrots. Also, it's only "soft" on the outside, defeating the purpose of comfortably snuggling the bird. What I didn't like the most was the terrible stench that came out, the material smells like chemicals! I've washed it twice in the washing machine and it still smells awful. The design is cute and I love that there are no dangerous cheap hanging ropes on hooks that can hurt birds (Happy Huts) but it's a must see. smaller, have more padding inside and do NOT smell of chemicals
