I bought an old 1995 Cherokee a few years ago, used, and the tailgate struts died, mostly in the cold weather. I used a vise to hold the sunroof in winter. In the end I decided to exchange and ordered this set, or two sets. I had a hard time installing them and ruined one of the first two sets. I bought a second set and ended up installing two supports. It was not easy. Was it the luggage racks or the jeep? I don't know. But now that two are installed, the sunroof opens when opening, and closing requires some effort. I'm very satisfied and they weren't too expensive.
