I bought this to prepare dried food for hiking. I didn't want to waste my hand or other attachments on this task, but I wanted something small (so it's easy to store), accurate (so I can control serving sizes and ratios), and changeable units so I can use different recipes. . I bought this device in "quick sale". I think I bought it for about $12. To be honest I wasn't expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised when I started using this scale. They're small enough not to take up much counter or pantry space and light enough to lie down easily. Wardrobe. Made of stainless steel, cleaning is very easy; it will look beautiful for a long time! I can easily switch the units from grams to ounces with the push of a button. I have not measured accuracy on any other scale or in the NIST environment. I don't do anything that requires this type of calibration. . However, I measured the same item for several days and the weight displayed on the scale stayed the same over and over again. I've done this with several articles, so I know the repeatability is something to look forward to; I know my proportions and recipes will be at least the same from batch to batch! I would definitely buy it again and would recommend family and friends to catch one. Definitely hard to beat for the price!
