This webcam looks amazing. It has excellent performance and excellent image quality. The problem is that it is unstable. When used with my MacBook Pro, this causes devastating OS crash/reboot events, usually within minutes of starting a video call. After extensive troubleshooting and multiple support calls to multiple vendors (Logitech, Apple, Microsoft (Teams)), Logitech tells me that cameras can cause these crashes when plugged into a USB hub or docking station. . Her advice was to plug it directly into the MacBook Pro. Serious? What year is it now? Newer Macs don't have as many ports, and when used as a desktop replacement consider connecting multiple devices through a hub/dock. Personally, I have multiple monitors, a microphone, speakers, network, mouse, etc., all connected to a docking station so I can keep my MacBook Pro next to my desk when I'm not on the go. Apparently Logitech believes this is not a supported way of working and suggests I plug separate cables directly into my devices. I have a very expensive desktop decoration at the moment, so I'm going back to my old webcam until Logitech can update the firmware so that my computer doesn't break.
