Review on 2 TB External HDD ADATA HD330, USB 3.2 Gen 1, blue by Michael Baek ᠌
The purchase did not bring joy, the product is bad.
I bought three of these disks for work (money down the drain), enabled encryption on each, after which all the problems associated with low write / read speed were revealed on each of them. I was tormented and decided to test without data encryption: the first 10 GB were written from my SSD installed in iMac to the disk with a bullet, and the next gigabytes already went hard: 100 gigabytes were copied over USB 3.0 in 2 hours. Why these 2 terabytes, if the write speed is poor? I don’t recommend it, I bought a Samsung SSD and I’m glad I didn’t find such problems there.
- Volume 2 TB, rubber protection of the case.
- It has an average writing speed (compared to competitors), it is impossible to work with the disk when data encryption is enabled - it copies for a very long time, the unfortunate blue power indicator located in the wrong place, the top easily scratched and easily soiled plastic, overpriced, short wire.
