Review on ASUS ProArt Display Monitor PA278CV: High Performance 75Hz 🖥️ IPS LED Display with Adjustable Height, Pivot, Tilt, and Flicker-Free Technology by Jose Ward

I got this specifically to use with my M2 Macbook Air. Resolution and image quality are as expected; However, USB-C does not work for display. There is a firmware update on the Asus website that works with the M1 Mac, but even after applying the update it still doesn't work. Firmware update instructions are terrible. There are many translation issues, and while there are a few photos, they don't clearly show the necessary steps (accessing the hidden factory reset menu is a shot in the dark). It also didn't recognize the first flash drive I was trying to use to update. Just a huge hassle. While this is relatively minor compared to the display's specs, the speakers are terrible. With the same success, they could not record them at all. They appear to be pointing upwards, causing problems for anyone on the floor above (when using at home), they sound very thin and the volume control is wobbly. The volume starts at 50 out of 100, which is pretty loud, but turning the volume down has little to no effect until you reach 10. My 2021 Macbook Pro's speakers sounded way better than these speakers.
