Update: I have a stand for this item and WOW what a difference. The stand is solid and the wheel is smooth and designed for easy focusing. I added some more images, min and max text, min and max coin, max moss and a time lapse of it. Moos created with the free software SkyStudio pro for Windows. I couldn't be happier with this for $20 plus the same for the stand. If you have children or grandchildren like me, they will enjoy using it with you or alone. I like it! I've already found some cold solder joints and fixed them for a small electronic thing I have. I also have a zoomy microscope. Zoomy is a fixed zoom but has an adjustable focus that allows you to step back and refocus. So between that great subject and that, I have everything. The downside to "Zoomy" is that there is no kickstand, which is why I love this one. Pros: zoom and adjustable light, software is good too! Cons: no focus BUT it's great with a stand. Users (e.g. Coins). The stand is included, but the program's website offers to send a better metal stand for free. I will update if/when it arrives. The images show a small Resisteo, a board with min and max magnifications and medium magnification of a surface mount LED and a picture of some match heads.
