Bought three or four months ago, felt really good to get a thermometer that fits so I can check the temperature of my home brew with my new conical fermenter. On three batches I had problems with the yeast and never got as low a specific gravity as I would have liked or expected. So this morning I checked the calibration again as all my yeast had dried up and my thermometer showed my wart was 78C. as you can see, the thermometer is off by about 12 degrees, so my yeast died a few days ago due to low temperatures.
