My vet recommended this product to me two years ago. I have a seventeen year old cat with multiple health issues. Asthma, heart, kidneys, arthritis. She takes medication for all of this every day. This was followed by nighttime crying, which is a sign of feline dementia. I spent most nights with her on the floor as she didn't like climbing up her cat ladder to my bed anymore. Of all their medications, this is by far the cheapest and has the highest value that I can see. Bottles last a long time. She doesn't take pills, so I give her liquids. She eats kibble, so she gets her velactin straight into the same type of syringe you would use to give your baby liquid medicine. She takes two more liquids at night, so she's settled into the routine. In any case, if your cat or dog eats wet food, you can simply add it to the food. I can't say enough good things about Welactin. This also makes their fur nice and shiny. To be honest it has changed my cat's life and mine a lot. I don't sleep on the floor anymore and she's got her fiery personality back.
