Review on Marineland Precision Heater: Optimal Temperature Control for Saltwater or Freshwater Aquariums by Megan Davis

I was hesitant to buy this because there were several reviews stating the heater overheated the water and 'cooked' the fish. However, most reviews say that this is an excellent heater. After using it for a few days, I agree with the last reviews. It keeps a stable temperature and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I love that you can set a specific temperature with either the dial on top or the red line on the side. This is very useful when the heater is in the water and you can't easily see the top. I also like the fact that the glass has a black pattern that makes it less visible in the aquarium. I have a 150 watt heater for a 30 gallon tank and it works great. I used to have a 100 watt heater and it couldn't keep the right temperature.
