I ordered a size 15 for my 11 year old who is slim (95 pounds) and tall (5.5 inches). I took a risk with the size (size = 180 says whatever that means). Anyway, here are the measurements. The waist is 28 inches and has a non-adjustable elastic that can stretch maybe an extra inch. Pants are 40 inches long. Legs are skinny so not suitable for shorter ones Scouting belt goes through the loops quite comfortably My son's waist is closer to a 20-22. But with a belt, he should be fine. The material is light and dries quickly. The sewing quality is quite good. It cannot be converted into shorts. Hope this helps someone else who wants to resize.
