Review on Dynasphere Contains Cue Ball Striped Cleaning by Jonathan Clark

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The tightest tolerances on the market.

Dynasphere actually tells you its size and weight specifications. Aramit does not publish this information either. Definitely not the cheaper brands. And it's not just talk. The silver Dynasphere balls I received were ALL 57.2mm in diameter with a 2.25" point. According to my digital caliper no deviation! Also the weight tolerance seems to be advertised as less than +/- 1 gram. I used a fairly cheap digital kitchen scale so I'm reluctant to assume I have exact numbers, but for me all the balls were around 168.5g (+/-) 0.9g. Before I bought this set I bought a $55 poly ball set looked very nice but the weight varied plus or minus 5 grams! And most balls were just over the 6 ounce max. Also, the diameter varied from 2.22 to 2.27 inches. Of course in a completely different quality. To be honest I thought these poly balls were great for a crappy player like me but I returned them anyway. So this set is tournament quality and the balls are nice too. Of course, they cost a little more than these polyamide balls, but Dynasphere makes cheaper balls that have to meet the same tight tolerances. I know my bad shots can't be blamed on my billiard balls. I am very satisfied with this set.
