Wow when I first got this it was amazing. It was slightly stretchy, very flexible, easy to attach to anything but difficult to detach. I wish I had bought more packs. In the second round, less than a few weeks later, I received a completely different product. It doesn't fit anywhere. If I swing it at anything, it doesn't go up very far. I was left with a barely attached hose which is very inconvenient. Trying to attach this to the shroud valve got so bad that I put the check valve closer to the end attached to the valve, then attached a piece of flexible tubing to the other side of the check valve, and then attached it to the valve. Since the hose was very difficult to put on the valve, this method worked better. I need consistency, build extra tanks and change things all the time. I'm happy to spend a little more for a durable product. Now I have to try other products hoping to find something like the original tube I got here. No kidding, I literally thought I had ordered a different product and checked my orders to make sure no, I had actually used "buy again" on the order. Very annoying, this has brought a lot of work to the fish room. USEFUL ADVICE A tip not to throw these things away. I try not to waste things so I realized that with a little heat I could stick a small chopstick in. As the chopstick grows larger, I can expand the end a bit while it's still warm. I used my craft heat gun. Hope this helps someone!
