Review on Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 45mm f1.8 (Silver) Lens for Micro 4/3 Cameras - International Version: Enhanced Photography Experience, No Warranty by Ta Wan ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

Attached are sample photos. I've been shooting with it for quite some time now. In general, the lens is very tightly "knocked down" in its qualities. And all for a very reasonable price. In fact, this lens is currently the lightest and most compact portrait lens on the market with good image quality. But my work with him is not limited to portraits, he is quite suitable for the street, as well as urban landscapes. Blurring is very pleasant, bokeh nervousness is sometimes found only in full-length portraits, but even then, you still need to be able to look closely at this. Autofocus speed is good, it is enough in most cases. This is short. A more complete review with photo examples can be found on my website Photoskazki. Ru

Pros
  • Very compact Very light Relatively fast autofocus Silent autofocus Sharp at 1.8 Microcontrast and color are good nice bokeh
Cons
  • No hood included Sometimes purple "hares" and flare are observed in complex backlight. Chromatic aberrations are sometimes observed on an open aperture in backlight

Some pros: Cool bokeh. With excellent sharpness. Different cons: The focus ring spins without a stop, not very convenient.
