I've had a ThermoPro TP-16 for a few years and the temperature sensor started to wobble (that's the technical term ;-) ). It has been operated many times, washed, in some places they scolded the cable. had to be exchanged. The base unit TP-16 is fine, only the probe was removed after intensive use. It was a pack of 2 probes and they are well made and work great out of the box (I NEVER roast without them and the roast is ALWAYS perfect now). As a two fer, I keep one as a backup (and try to be a little less crude with them). I expect to get another 5+ years of this.
