I bought a couple of these grow lights. They shine great but their design as they are CFLs means you really need to make sure there are good reflectors around them. The photo on this page doesn't give a good idea of her size either. They are comparable to a 1 liter bottle of soda or a 40 ounce bottle of malt liquor. One of the main advantages of these lamps is that they fit into a standard light bulb socket and as they are rated at 105 watts most sockets can handle this voltage and deliver an amazing amount of light. However, they do not fit everything that has a lampshade or dome. Since they are in the 65K temperature range, they are well suited to vegetative growth. Switch to a warmer 3K lamp if you want to induce flowering.
