These shelves are perfect for me. I'm a little mechanically inclined, but it was a little tricky to install. There are no instructions, only pictures and very small pictures. But after a while I was able to figure it out, and when I started, it only took about 45 minutes to install. The hardest part was getting to the level, but I made it as soon as I started. The shelves are the perfect size for me as I don't have a lot of space in my bathroom. I liked them so much that I ordered another set. They're sturdy enough for bathroom shelves, but I wouldn't put anything very heavy on them. I'm guessing a combined weight of around 20 pounds would be the max they can handle. I use these for my wet razors and they pack up and hold up well. They look very nice and I would recommend them to everyone. However, if you are inexperienced with this, I would recommend finding someone to help you install it. Very nice shelves.
