Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance Edelbrock 7814 Performer-Link Timing Chain and Gear Set by Anthony Lopez

I've been using this part on my 5.0 liter Mustang for about a year. So far no problems. It appears to be the same part that Ford put in the car. It's an ugly unit. It is somewhat rough at the edges and has strong milling marks. I didn't care as no one would ever see him. Just in case you were wondering, the small gear slides off the crankshaft without tools, but you remove the harmonic balancer with a standard harmonic balancer puller. Also Napa gasket kit for timing case cover, water pump and thermostat. This job is a little tricky so don't try it if you don't feel confident in your skills. It took me 2 days off to replace this part and everything under the hood except the engine had to be removed.
