The box was damaged and the item was used before it arrived.

Box arrived damaged. The item appears to be used. The chain is loose and worn. Keypath is missing. I've bought one before and it's been brand new in the past. It definitely wasn't. Waste of time, had to go back. Also, don't buy from Revain. you suck

Pros
  • Manufactured from billet SAE-1144 steel and induction heat treated
Cons
  • Functionality

Excellent timing. good for performance parts and accessories

7814 Excellent workmanship. It fits perfectly in a 1966 Ford Mustang 289. Ideal kit for 289 with 2 piece fuel pump eccentric. I ordered 7820 which was not suitable for my setup. 7820 for one-piece eccentric. Don't make this mistake, you could damage the two-piece eccentric. After installation, I started the car, there is no sound, the time is perfect.

Pros
  • Heavy duty bush chain that resists stretching
Cons
  • Minor issues

What's up EB?: Kits and kits

Poor customer service. damaged part. Nothing more to say - no more customer. In advance to possible questions. Jumping through lots of hoops isn't ideal for customer retention - read their return/exchange policies. The damage isn't that bad. brand new, it must be undamaged, even minor damage can result in catastrophic failure of these engine components.

Pros
  • Screws and studs not included
Cons
  • Expensive

Great timing chain for kits and kits

I've been using this part on my 5.0 liter Mustang for about a year. So far no problems. It appears to be the same part that Ford put in the car. It's an ugly unit. It is somewhat rough at the edges and has strong milling marks. I didn't care as no one would ever see him. Just in case you were wondering, the small gear slides off the crankshaft without tools, but you remove the harmonic balancer with a standard harmonic balancer puller. Also Napa gasket kit for timing case cover, water pump and…

Pros
  • Used with both working and stock cams
Cons
  • Out of style
