Review on Sirui Anamorphic Smartphone Lens Black by Jnis Pimberis ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are disadvantages, but the product is usable.

Some pros: As if people talk about quality, but do not specify, I will clarify. The quality of the lens is average, the quality of optics and blackening is average. For example, even with a fujian 1.7 lens for a thousand, the metal is 4 times thicker. The body metal is thin, if it falls (and it will definitely fall), then the lens will break. The slightest bend in the metal will lead to broken glass. I will also bring pleasant glare to the pluses. Has cons: Thin metal, a very noisy picture from it on any phone due to the fact that in the anamorph there are two, or even three, thick glasses in parallel. So you will need lighting not only for the smartphone, but also for general lighting. Most often you will see shooting in very sunny places and for good reason. The clothespin and even the cover are all garbage. The lens almost moved out several times, although it does not need to be adjusted. In short, you need to make your mount on a 3d printer. There is also the problem of shaking, the lens outweighs the smartphone and without a gimbal you will not do anything worthwhile. There is also a problem that the lens must be strictly horizontal. And last but not least, it makes sense. If you are on a journey, then you do not need an anamorph, but a wide or telephoto. In our country, no one really needs to shoot a movie, especially on a phone. Serious offices will not let you shoot on the phone.
