Review on πŸ§‚ Chic Kate Spade York Avenue Salt and Pepper Shakers - Modern White Design, 0.55 LB by Melissa Sanchez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Modern yet classic

This Kate Spade restaurant on York Avenue has a traditional appeal but a slightly modern twist, with bodice detailing and black trimmings around the edges. This Kate Spade line is made by Lenox and is made in Malaysia (I think the price is too high for something not made in this country; I thought most Lenox cookware is made in the USA but there lies I'm probably wrong, at least for now). This is ironstone, not porcelain or bone china. This set includes a dinner plate, mug, accent plate and bowl. This is a universal environment. It goes with almost any decor. Its simplicity gives it a classic look, but the black piping and bodice detail can also give it a slightly modern look. The meals themselves are hearty; They don't feel or look fragile. The price is high, but it's a design setup and that's what people pay for. Anyway, I want it to be made in the United States like other Lenox and Kate Spade New York products. A solid set that can be combined with decor.
