I don't know what other people are saying but what I have works great and the birds love it! Finally a peanut feeder that lasts two days before needing to be refilled! I have 2 other peanut feeders but squirrels and birds empty them within an hour and this one only allows you to take one peanut at a time. And for those who say your birds can't figure it out, give them time. The birds at my house figured out how to get peanuts out of the feeder straight away, jays and tits love it! And for those who say it's unhealthy to feed birds peanuts because of possible bacteria from raw peanuts, the solution is to get roasted peanuts, just make sure they're unsalted. I liked the feeder, I bought another one as a gift!
