I bought the 13-27" with no extension. It will do what I need. Thanks to the anchors, the attachment is pretty strong. Two points to note. First, what I got only had one slight vertical tilt - no horizontal rotation and no portrait/landscape rotation Secondly, I have not yet completed the installation as my monitor type has a lip and HDMI and the power cables run straight back instead of straight down so between the wall and the monitor doesn't have enough space to complete the installation. I need to buy an HDMI cable with an L-bend and some extra long standoff screws to complete this setup. My monitor is a LG Neo Blade III. I don't know if this is specific to LG monitors or just my particular model If you are unsure of the distance I would recommend just buying a monitor with an extension cord as Si e save yourself the hassle.
