Review on Simply Art Assorted Palettes 4 ct. by Loew-Cornell by Linda Diaz

This is the perfect little palette set for my needs. Sometimes I need big subjects and sometimes small ones; It's the perfect mix for small bowls where I only need a small amount of a specific color to mix. I use gouache and when I'm done I just add a few drops of water to each color I've mixed and cover the bowl tightly with foil. This usually keeps the color at or near a good consistency the next time I work with that color set. This way I can mix several different shades of the same shade in one palette and it's ready to use when I start painting again. If it's too dry I just add some water, wait a bit, stir and I'm back in business. I appreciate the small amount of color I can mix with this palette and how it "holds". When I'm done with the paints these bowls are also easy to clean, especially if I intentionally let the gouaches dry then the paint just slides out of the well (if it's round) and all I have to do is rinse. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who needs a small batch of different colors in a painting and they are a great way to store them with a simple foil lid.
