I can't say enough good things about this magnetic car phone holder from VANMASS. This is just the beginning. Your customer service, from the training email to all email support, was top notch too! Excellent communication via messaging and email. I drive the Forest Service Roads to Springer Mountain in Georgia through the Smokys in North Carolina. I've put some pretty hard knocks and driving on the car and a phone mount and this thing isn't going to slip or slide, is it? As in the photo, I didn't use transparent tape but attached a metal plate directly to the outside of the case. When I contacted VANMASS they suggested using it directly on the fuselage as I had an issue with it not sticking very well. As you can see, my case is a bit structured. They offer clear tape if you're worried about case scratches or easy removal for future phones. I didn't care. I put it on the outside because the magnet sticks better and not between the phone and the case. Personal preference only. Now install the metal plate and dash glass. For good adhesion, it is very important to clean the dashboard and bodywork. I used rubbing alcohol on both surfaces and then let it dry completely. The instructions state that you press firmly on both the dial and the metal plate for 1 minute and allow them to dry for 1 to 24 hours before use. Yes, I left them for a maximum of 24 hours. You will be happier if you do the same. It takes a little while, but it's better with a little patience. The temperature was around 60 degrees Fahrenheit as it is recommended not to install in cold weather. You can warm up your car just by turning on the heater. I would buy it again, but I don't have to. I will be buying more for friends, family and other Appalachian Trail shuttle riders who are in difficult riding conditions. Thank you VANNMASS.
