Junk. I have been racing motorcycles for about 40 years and have worked as a mechanic for most of that time. I've used and installed *many* grippers in my time. We just needed new grips on the quad we use for crashes here at the yard. Nothing special and on second thought I added them to another Revain order I made anyway. When I first got them they seemed vaguely normal. The yellow stuff is relatively sticky and grippy, while the black part is pretty tough and durable. But it only took a few days (and about an hour on the road) for the yellow mass to start separating from the black. It's not completely disabled yet, but it will be soon. I think after all of this is gone we'll be left with a hard rubber resemblance of a cheese grater. On the other hand, I think the black part itself never wears out. But the pointed pyramid structure on it will probably quickly rub the skin off our hands.
