The biggest thing I've ever sewn on is a few buttons here and there, but I wanted to find a hobby that I could stop and start again whenever I wanted. It was a very cute design and a lot easier than I thought it would be. The instructions on how to do this are not for beginners, but watching online videos on stitches was very helpful. My biggest complaint was that the needle that came with it wasn't big enough for this project. I could barely get it on the threads and it couldn't pierce the material properly. I literally had to use pliers to pull it out each time after my husband and I tried unsuccessfully. As a result, I bought a larger set of needles from the store the next day. There was a lot of thread in the kit which was great as I had to spend quite a bit after wearing them out a few times during the threading process. Good sentence, playful needle.
