Real 304 stainless steel?
304 stainless steel does not respond well to magnets. A simple test shows that it is inferior stainless steel. The attached video compares them to West Marine cotter pins. Previously on my boat the Chinese "stainless steel" rusted in a few months so I'll be returning them.
