Ideal solution for in car entertainment

I bought two of these to use in my van and they are more secure. I have two 9" DVD players and they both fit perfectly, although one was almost three times thicker than the other (each arm is slightly adjustable). I think the product is well made and stable. My kids have to get used to it. to them when one broke his knee on his arm and was hit pretty hard - but the arm didn't break at all (the DVD player wasn't even in it). Each arm has a rubber pad to protect the DVD player and add extra grip. Each lever can slide further apart (for the width of a DVD player) and further up and down (for the thickness of a DVD player). Also, there is nothing to rub against the car seat that could damage the fabric, like in some other models. A few things to note: the product appears to be fairly adjustable without actually moving the small nuts and bolts (using the Allen key provided). I tried, and it wasn't worth it - almost impossible to get the bolt and nut back. into a tiny slot too small for your fingers. You need strong tweezers. I found that the latches held on the regulator appear in place with no screws acting as locks. Also, do NOT follow the instructions. It asks you to loosen the screws to separate the device in two, then place one section on one side of the seat and the other section on the other, and screw them back together. This probably won't be possible and will take you a lot of time. . As other reviewers have said, installation is a breeze and should take around 20 seconds once your headrest can pop out all the way. Simply take this bracket out of the box (it comes already assembled), insert the headrest legs into the mounting holes, then slide the headrest legs back into the headrest mounting holes and you're done. Finally, we had a problem that we wanted to solve. Do you have a child car seat (forward-facing) that requires the headrest to be removed? We had the jury to rig it so the bracket could still be attached. This is worth considering if you have a child. It has completely changed our travels. Before DVD players were brought in by kids or parents who mistook them for kids. Now he is sitting on chairs and everyone is happy. Nothing important is covered except for the DVD slot which is on the back of our units, but it's easy to slide the DVD player to change discs.
