Works although difficult to install if lamp has harnesses where the 'hot' and 'neutral' wires are made up of many thin copper wires. Be sure to twist the wires together before attempting to "hook"/"loop" them; Otherwise it's quite difficult to ensure that the connecting wires (1x silver screw for neutral/white wire and 1x gold screw for black/hot wire) stay under the screw heads. Also use a small screwdriver without power. All in all, I would buy it again because the socket serves its purpose and fits exactly into the existing holder.
