They are an easy replacement for my Seagate 4TB QNAP NAS drives. I ran 4 of these SSDs in my TVS-471 for 3 months and they are fast, reliable and quiet! I know they are more expensive compared to HDDs, but the extra speed and quiet operation are worth it. Using MKV to transfer movies to my NAS is much faster and Plex is less likely to re-encode to a lower resolution. 4K movies stream cleanly to my various Samsung and LG large screens. I also upgraded my QNAP from i5 to i7 and added two M.2 1TB drives for caching.
