Review on Penn Plax Calcium X Large 12 Inch by Jennifer Bernard

I've read reviews about the dumb paints used to paint these calcium rods. I thought I might need to clean the one I bought. I have made. Now my hands are colored magenta. Just like my sink. But on top of that, the washers that attach the perch to the cage are just too small. I bought a large perch for my large bird that sleeps in a large cage. One would think that this would be taken into account when making large poultry products. Sigh. Now I have to build something myself or find/make a puck big enough to attach this somewhat useless item. The bird is also unhappy. And if you know about macaws, you know how moody they are.
