I used it almost as soon as it arrived today. I am very happy with it. It's a lot easier than using a double boiler or microwave for the chocolate I melt for candy and decorations. One caveat is to start at a high temperature, but once the chocolate begins to melt, turn the temperature down to medium, as the heat gets very hot and the chocolate will burn if you leave it on a high temperature for too long. Today I filled them to the brim with milk chocolate and salted caramel chips and melted them into candies in molds. It melted smoothly and was easy to pour into molds and spoon into tiny spaces. If there's anything negative about this melting pot, I haven't figured it out yet. BUT, if anything negative comes up, I'll update this review.
