Advantages: The price is amazing compared to branded devices. They look and feel great. Cons: We only bought 11 pieces. 3 retired within two years (one in a high usage area, two in very low usage areas) and bought more to keep the appearance. This is a potential money saver and a dramatic price difference compared to established brands. An error occurred due to the failure of internal moving parts. The other two were manufacturing defects. If the lever that keeps the door latches closed goes in too far, it will get stuck. I've tried many things to get it out including drilling to get them out which worked until putting them back in place. The return date has passed and there was no warranty information, so the rating is the best we have. would i do it again It saved us a few hundred dollars, so yes. I just wish there was a little more focus on creating the end product. Also a nice bonus is that the newer versions come with a nice protective drywall sleeve in the box.
