The light is bright enough at max brightness. However, as the light dims, the high-frequency noise gets louder and louder with each click. Not good for the sound! It definitely gets in the way, so the brightest setting is really the only one that's useful without noise. Different cold / warm / neutral function is good. If you're only using one light source, there's no way to switch between the one that's on (so plan accordingly when setting up). The collar seems tight but it slips a little to the side (as you can see in the photo). Bent arms don't stay completely in place. I only plan on keeping this if I can't find a better replacement without wasting my hands and feet on random video calls. But as they say, "You get what you pay for" and this thing is great value for money!
