Just wanted to write a quick review. If you read and look at the product page, there are 2 filters there. You can use both. The black foam filter fits over the airway without having to use an existing retention cap. The large white filter fits over the airway and uses the existing retention cap to secure it. The black foam cap WILL NOT FIT over the white filter. The site says not to use both at the same time. I have worn them both. I've had a vacuum for over 10 years so if it messes it up it's fine. Turned on and works as it should.
