SMALL version looked good out of the box but quickly became a difficult return. Sand in the red three-minute timer, which is most useful in meetings, does not flow and is useless. My guess is that the grit is wrong which is causing the sand to clog. The sand in the green 2 minute timer leaked intermittently and had moisture inside so the sand stuck to the inner glass and likely caused a new clog. I'll look elsewhere for working timers. I think I can find a better $15 product elsewhere. You would think that such a simple device, used for centuries, would come to a working state.
