They go great with my 2003 4 door Blazer. It fits. We have the Ascend FS10 and Future Beach Fusion 10 kayaks. They were easy to put together. Some say it's hard. Don't let them scare you. If you can put together a small Lego set for kids 10+, you'll have enough mechanical skills to put it together and put it in your car. Time for it all when you use all four J-Bars on two kayaks and just one. Person performing the work: - Initial setup and installation on the roof: 1 hour - Initial loading of two kayaks: 30 minutes (to figure out how you want to tie them) - Unloading of two kayaks: 5 minutes - Transfer of two kayaks : 10 minutes - Removing J J-Rods from the rack: 10 minutes - Reinstalling J-Rods to the rack: 10 minutes Removal from the roof does not require complete disassembly, making removal and reinstallation so quick. They are extremely strong. I loaded and secured my kayaks, then shook the kayaks and watched my roof racks move up and down. There was NO play in the kayak and J bars. Now for the bad: I didn't trust cam belts. . I loaded the kayaks, strapped them in and then shook the kayaks and was able to unbuckle the straps. Considering how much more expensive name brand J hooks are compared to cheap reliable webbing I can't in my right mind take a star off. It's still a 5/5 star product for the money but you need to order better straps. I use a cheap tow strap I have in my garage, but I don't recommend it as people warn that tow straps can warp plastic kayaks. I've used tow straps on the last few rides, but this season I plan to invest $15 in a better set of cam straps. I was able to carry my kayak with these J-Rods and these cam straps on a 4 hour trip at an average speed of 60-70 mph. I left my review for you. You are a 5/5 product.
