Works great on Linux Ubuntu! Tested on Ubuntu 20.04 and it was plug and play. No problem, just plug it in. I used a USB 3.0 port on my PC and it had enough power to run properly. If you are having power issues, try the following: Plug it into a USB 3.0 port, NOT a USB 2.0 port. , as 3.0 ports can deliver 2x more power, and/or: Connect an optional micro-USB power cable to the back of the device. Connect the main end to a cell phone charger or similar and the other end to the back of the CD/DVD drive.
