Review on 🔧 Efficient Lubrication for SHIMANO SG-700 Alfine Hub: 50ml of Alfine Hub Oil by Kevin Abner

Two stars only because of the outrageous price. I used this oil in my 11 speed IGH Alfine. I also had to buy a Shimano oil change kit that has a syringe and a special nipple to attach to the hub. The cost of the kit was even more outrageous. The oil change was easy and took an hour, with most of the time being spent draining the oil from the hub. Just google Alfine oil change and there are various tutorial videos with pictures. Here is an example: https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=53344.0 The oil change kit also comes with instructions. The old oil looked pretty dirty (after 800 miles of use). When changing the oil I have to say that the hub now shifts smoothly, like silk.
