Definitely recommend as these rear speakers add a depth of sound that you can't get from the soundbar and subwoofer alone. They convert Polk Audio's soundbar from 3.1 to 5.1. But as is always the case with true 5.1 decoded rear speakers, they don't always produce sound as that depends on what you're watching and how that source's audio was recorded. I am very satisfied with the volume of the speakers, the response and their design. You can control the volume and balance with the soundbar remote control. Initially I had an issue syncing them to the subwoofer and soundbar. I got very loud static noise through one of the rear speakers and couldn't control the volume. This also resulted in the soundbar having to be unplugged to "restart" it. I tried 4 times and was ready to return them when I decided to try again and they synced perfectly and have been working flawlessly ever since. So make sure you follow the step-by-step sync instructions carefully.
