I don't usually write reviews but I use them a lot when I shop online. I bought this splitter about a month and a half ago because my then 7 month old Great Dane pup didn't want to stay in the back seat of my F250 ATV. He would always come forward and sit on my wife's lap, or worse, on my lap while I was driving. Too dangerous so I went and bought a divider which was just a big net thinking it would just be a barrier and he would just realize he had to stay behind as that would stop him enough from giving up. NOT CORRECT! He shot it in about 3.5ms. Like I said what the heck I had to find something to stop a 100 lb Great Dane puppy as he was just about to get bigger and they are very affectionate and love being with you. I searched the internet and came across this when I saw an aluminum structure that not only ran around the perimeter but also had a horizontal support in the middle. I bought a wider version for my truck and it fits perfectly. It absolutely keeps him in the back seat. He tried to knock him down but to no avail and he gave up. Now he knows that this is his territory. I highly recommend this device. When assembling, insert the center piece first.
