Review on Garmin Vívoactive Smaller Sized Smartwatch Monitoring by Joseph Adaymiln

GPS does not work, timing is inaccurate.

This machine Absolute crap for the price . I'm not sure if I have a broken device or what, but the GPS connection takes 30 minutes to an hour. If you go into a building you will lose signal and it will take forever to reconnect. I have never been so frustrated using hardware that is so poorly designed. You need to install TWO apps on your phone, one for visual fitness and the other. get this, to install watch faces and view apps. The watch keeps asking for permission to get location even if it's already on. Syncing/editing watch faces via the app is like pulling your teeth at constant errors and shutdowns, and the app ecosystem doesn't exist and some watch faces have the audacity to charge you for it. There is no simple app to simply log reps and sets during a workout. Heart rate monitoring is slow and inaccurate. My heart rate during extreme cardio should be within 180 but shows an easy 120 and never goes above 150. Measuring my own heart rate and/or an external device shows that it can grossly underestimate heart rate. The only salvation is good. Battery life, everything else is practically useless. Stress Monitor tells you when I'm stressed while I'm literally doing nothing. Sleep only tells you how long you sleep, not even sure if the REM and deep sleep records are accurate. However, it does not provide any information on sleep quality. Finally, the watch itself is very slow to respond to user input, e.g. B. when entering a Garmin payment PIN or setting a timer. To set the timer, press to enter the time, then press twice to complete the entry, and then you need to press the outside button to start the timer.
