Not very well built at all. I looked at reviews before purchasing and, against my better judgement, I decided to purchase these anyway. I thought these would have been great for my 3 year old son, but these are just not a good skate. The buckles do not stay latched. The size is correct if you are not using shoes, however, you need to have your child in shoes with these or their feet could get pinched. I extended the skate as far as I could and I could barely fit in a basic converse shoe size 10c. After we got his shoes in the skate, like I previously stated, the buckles come unlatched with every move. The wheels are very loose spinning and have no option to adjust, so it was very difficult for my toddler to attempt to balance on these at all. I wish Fisher-Price still had the "grow with me" skates. Save your money on these and look for something better. I know I will continue to look for something he can use and grow with.
