Solid metal, solid performance

Appearance: Solid construction, quite heavy for its size. Installation: The systems you connect to the KVM connect at the rear, while the mouse and keyboard connect at the front. The supplied USB cables were used to connect to my systems and I had existing HDMI cables (or HDMI to DVI in my case) that I used to connect the systems to the KVM. The power input is a DC adapter with a screw connector to ensure a solid connection. You may want to tie the input cables together as the HDMI cables can become detached if the cables are not properly connected. Thoughts: Pretty basic KVM. I've used it to share KVM for Windows, Ubuntu, and Raspberry Pi systems with no issues. It comes with a remote control. It's solidly built and I hope it will last for many years. Please note that the photo shows a USB 3.0 cable labeled USB 2.0. I can assure you that the cables that come with it are USB 2.0. All in all: a good KVM that allows me not to swap monitor, keyboard and mouse cables from my systems if necessary. The remote control is a nice touch for remotely viewing various systems and monitoring what's going on.
